NEW WOMEN, INK. WEBSITE

We are proud to announce the relaunching of our website http://www.womenink.org

We have a new look along with a completely updated, searchable catalogue of categories and books, all easily purchased online.

A TRUE WOMEN'S ENTERPRISE

The update and redesign of our site was undertaken as a true women‚s enterprise, with all the work done internally by staff, interns and board members.  In addition, womenink.org is hosted by an online network for women, which has facilitated taking on all the work in-house through a system of forms and control panels for easy maintenance. This enables us to constantly update the site with new books, and other relevant information on the topic of resources for gender and development.

NEW ADDITIONS

Some additions to the site include a better search engine that allows visitors and customers to browse by name, author, description and date published. Most books are accompanied by an image of the cover. We will be adding book reviews for many books in the next few weeks and also a tool to add your own reviews.

Tips for Searching

Under the section, ŒOur Customers,‚ read how Women, Ink resources have been useful to everyone from civil society organizations and those involved in training to academic professionals.

SUGGESTIONS

As with all change and new ventures, there are will be a learning period and some trial and error in using the site. We welcome your suggestions, feedback and experiences on using the site.
